Mina and Ed Oglesby have served the Lord in our church ministering to our church for many years. I have known these dear people for over twenty years. They are in our church regularly. They are in our home on a regular basis. Dottie and I know them and love them as dear servants of God and I believe their ministry is anointed of God.
Let me say a few things about their ministry. I know of no lady that is being so widely used as Mina in speaking to the needs of women. She speaks from the Bible, from her experience and from her heart. Mina has been speaking at our European Ladies’ Retreat for over fifteen years. Since 1992, Ed and Mina have been ministering in our military churches here in Europe. On many occasions when I have operated the sound system for our European Ladies’ Retreat I wept as I sensed God speaking to the hearts of missionary and military wives, not to mention myself. Mina’s music is beautiful. It is God honoring. I cannot imagine that it would not be accepted by the most critical of sacred music lovers. She is also gifted in writing music that speaks to the heart.
Ed is a faithful witness and has a unique ministry of distributing Christian literature and music. When Ed comes to your church he brings a Christian bookstore with him. I have found this an invaluable ministry to my people. Ed is always a help to the pastor and a blessing to the church. Together Ed and Mina Oglesby make a UNIQUE team.
