Exciting New Year!
continued-
...be with them for three days. I was able to sing four of Pastor Kaffenbarger's favorites during the funeral service, and we enjoyed some quality time with the family that evening.
In August, (on his birthday, of all days!!) my Darling had cataract removal and an implant in both eyes...one week apart...He now has 20/20 vision and NO eyeglasses required! We praise the Lord for current medical technology!!
Our FAR ABOVE RUBIES retreat was a total blessing this past September!! We had 134 attendees and a marvelous time. Three ladies received Christ as Savior and that was the crowning blessing of the whole wonderful weekend!! One of those saved was in a group of three sisters and their mother all attending together...you should have heard the rejoicing afterward!!!!
Our meetings this fall have taken us to Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee, and twice to Florida. We have seen many answers to specific prayers and our LORD has always provided every need.
FAMILY NEWS: Our youngest daughter, Faye, just graduated from The Chef's Academy in Indianapolis in November, and we were able to be there to celebrate with her!! What an achievement!! Our oldest grandson, Talmadge Williams, is now officially a sailor in the Navy, stationed for his first training in Groton, Connecticut. Our FPG, Charlie, and her husband, Greg White, have been transferred to his first Naval duty station in Norfolk, VA, and are getting settled in beautifully. They have joined a great church there in Norfolk and are very involved. Greg is a good witness at work and GOD is blessing them both. Charlie is preparing to enter nursing school as soon as possible. All the rest of our children and grands are doing well with their various jobs and activities.
PRAYER REQUEST: I will undergo total knee joint replacement on BOTH knees on January 10, 2012, Lord willing. I have great confidence in the
doctor but MORE confidence in the GREAT Physician...I will depend on your prayers as you think of us.
We trust that you will have a memorable and enjoyable holiday season as you remember all that our LORD has done for us, and consider what He is GOING to do!!
Love to each one,
Eddie and Mina
